After majoring in musical composition at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, he was hired as a pianist to perform at Kings Island, a local theme park, in Spring of 1985. By the end of that year the production staff had hired him full-time to write their shows. He remained on staff with Kings Productions (which eventually became Paramount Parks Design and Entertainment) until 1993 when he ventured out on his own to form his own music production company, Whirlwind Productions. Since then, Jeff's music has been heard in many venues all across the country.

Jeff's music has the ability to "transport" the listener to an endless number of different times, places and experiences. Whether it is an arrangement of a familiar tune or an original composition, his music can engage his listeners on a musical journey that will undoubtedly lead them to a place to which they will want to return.
