This is where theatre and graphic design merge into one great big ol’ passion of mine: theatre posters. I love coming up with creative ad campaigns and identities for plays and musicals. Anything in the performing arts, really.
This is something I’ve been doing since I was in college (‘05-’09) and had the privilege of designing posters for Minnesota State University’s Dept. of Theatre & Dance for some of my time there.

Spreading the word about your upcoming performing arts production should be all about storytelling. You only have one shot to make a first impression to potential audiences, and your promotional designs should inspire curiosity while hinting at the type of show they may be thinking about seeing. My goal is to always make theatre posters a work of art in and of itself. It's not just advertising to us— it's an art form.
